WorldGaming has confirmed the addition of a dedicated Digital and FinTech Transformation Hall for the 2027 ICE Barcelona exhibition. The new venue will occupy Hall 7 and concentrate on artificial intelligence, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, and payment technologies.
The exhibition floor will host companies from the broader technology sector alongside established gaming suppliers. WorldGaming is currently reviewing applications from developers specializing in cloud infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and real-time customer engagement systems. A separate conference schedule will operate alongside the show floor to host industry discussions.
Advisory Board and Industry Partners
An advisory board has been formed to direct the hall layout, exhibitor selection, and visitor programming. The committee includes Yiannis Stavroulakis, chief technology officer at Novibet, and Satty Bhens, chief product and technology officer at Entain. Additional members are Chris Conroy of Future Anthem, Cris Kuehl of Continent 8 Technologies, Konstantinos Papakonstantinou of Kaizen Gaming, and Iulia Bolea, Microsoft territory lead for iGaming and entertainment in the UK. Margaret Dunn, portfolio director for ICE Barcelona, noted that "these functions are now central to growth, resilience, compliance and customer experience." The advisory group will oversee the development of a commercially focused environment for technology decision-makers.Microsoft previously directed the ICE Innovator Challenge at the 2026 edition.
