Novomatic Retains Second Place in Austrian Brand Value Ranking

Novomatic has secured the second position in the 2026 Austrian Brand Study for the seventh consecutive year. The European Brand Institute (EBI) released the findings of the 23rd edition of the ranking on July 1, 2026.

The gaming and entertainment group recorded a brand value of €3.938bn, marking a two percent rise from the previous year. This valuation places the company second only to Red Bull. The annual analysis covered 180 brand-name companies from 16 industries, where Austrian-owned entities accounted for over 45 percent of the participants.

Strategic Growth and Certification

Stefan Krenn, member of the Novomatic AG executive board, stated that the result validates the group's long-term corporate strategy and international appeal. He emphasized that continuous innovation and global expansion contributed to strengthening the brand's standing. Krenn also highlighted that the company's placement in the sustainable brand ranking demonstrates the connection between financial performance and responsible management.

Novomatic cites its ESG programme as a central element of its development. The initiative incorporates environmental, social, and governance factors into the company's operational framework. Earlier in June 2026, the group became the first gaming technology provider to be awarded the Certified Brand seal.
